Rain could be light or heavy, soft or rough. I like the kind of rain when I can relax in my bed with the window cracked and listening to the rain sprinkle over my house.
Light and heavy rain can be different in many ways and the sound and feel of rain. The heavy rain can be rough and extremely loud. The light rain can be soft and so silent that you can hear anything for miles. The sound can be a loud sound or the noise can be a silent sound. When it's pounding rain outside and you want to feel how hard the rain is, the rain would be slapping your hand off your arm!
I like the kind of rain that is sprinkling rain. The sounds are soothing like soft music. The sprinkling rain is the opposite of thunderstorms/lightning. Also the sprinkling rain is not as loud as pouring or pounding rain.
The kind of rain I dislike the most is pounding, loud, annoying, and obnoxious rain. That kind of rain is not relaxing when you just got home after a long day of hard work. The rain is also loud like noisy music instead of soft music. I could be in the middle of something and can't concentrate because of the noise.
