Rain, Rain, Big, And Small

Rain can come in many different sizes, shapes, sounds, and feels. I enjoy a heavy, pounding rain. Not a light, sprinkling rain.
There is a big difference between light and heavy rain. Light rain is just little droplets of water that you can't hardly feel or hear. Heavy rain is BIG, POUNDING< COLOSSAL pellets of water. Heavy rain is what rain is all about.These are the differences between light and heavy rain.
I enjoy the BIG, PELTING, OUTRAGEOUS!! rainstorms. I love the sound of the big splats of water. I also love watching the sky turn gray, and getting exteremly wet!. The storm is even better with Ear-Busting thunder and eye-blinding lightning. noew you see why I love the BIG, PELTING, OUTRAGEOUS!! rainstorms.
I absolutely hate light, pattering rain. There is no enjoyment from light, pattering rain. It is like it isn't even raining. The only enjoyment that comes from light rain is the rainbow that sometimes comes after it. All that happens is that everything is wet. Now you see why I dislike light rain.
These are the differences between light, pattering rain, and heavy, colossal rain.

Rain can be thunderous destruction or soothing, cleansing drops. Soothing cleansing drops are my favorite. Thunderous destruction is not what I prefer.

The light and heavy rain is completely different. Light feels very soft while heavy rain feels rough and hard. You may think that they both sound the same but the light rain

is like a pitter-patter while the heavy rain is like a stomping noise.

I prefer the sprinkling rain for many reasons. First, sprinkling rain is a form of light rain so I like it a lot. Second, sprinkling rain is soft and gentle to the touch. Last, sprinkling rain does not make you completely wet and not to dry either, it's perfect.

I hate spitting rain for even more reasons. First, it stings your skin so it hurts. Second, it is a type of heavy rain. Lastly, It makes you go in a hurry without enjoying anything.

The drops of the sky that spit at my skin are my enemy. The sprinkling, soothing, cleansing drops of the clouds are my allies.

Light and heavy rain are very different in their sound and feel. Light rain sounds soft and graceful while heavy rain sounds hard as it beats down. Light rain feels very different from heavy rain. Light rain feels like a soft mist is falling and at the same time heavy rain feels like you're being hit in the head repeatedly with something. During light rain you won't get very wet but during a heavy rain you'll get soaked .

The type of rain I like the best is sprinkling. I like it when you're sleeping and you hear a pitter patter on your window! I also like getting comfortable and listening to the peacefulness it provides.

The type of rain I like the least is pounding. When it is pounding outside it's so loud and rough! I especially hate it when we are driving and I can barely see out my window!

Although there are many different types my favorite is the calm,gentle,sprinkling mist of the sprinkling rain.

Light and heavy rain are different by light not coming down very hard, while heavy does. Light is a sprinkle, but heavy is a pounding/ pouring sound. Sound during a rain is either loud. or soft. If it's light rain it's usually soft if it's heavy rain it's usually loud and obnoxious.

My favorite kind of rain is a nice sprinkling, soft, light rain because I hate being wet, and if it's not coming down hard then you'll just get sprinkled. I also like this rain because it's gentle, soft, and nice to listen to. This rain is also my favorite because, it is calming and not scary, like heavy or pounding.

My least favorite rain is the pounding, pouring, loud kind. I hate this kind of rain because I hate loud noises. It wakes me up during the night and I can't go back to sleep. It's hard enough to soak you and I don't like my clothes being wet.

Even though rain can come in many different kinds my favorite is always going to be a nice, soft, sprinkle, light rain. Everyone is different so we all have a different kind of rain that we enjoy.

Do you like rain? No. Well I do. Rain comes in many forms. My favorite form is a light drizzle with a pinch of pitter patter. What kind do you like?

There is sprinkly rain and pounding rain. Hmmmmm..... what is the difference? One difference is heavy rain you can't sleep through it (bummer).

The sound of the light rain is a gentle as the hard rain is loud. The soft rain can send a relaxing vibe but, the hard rain can give you a headache.

I love rain but, my favorite is light and sprinkly mist. I enjoy reading while it is raining. I also love watching movies during rain.

Rain can be soft and quite the way i like but, I don't like it when it is lound and heavy rain. The rain can be extremely loud. Another thing is that if it is a bad storm and lightning is involved you could get hurt. Finally it is dangerous to play in hard rain so, you can 't have any fun outside.

Heavy rain and light rain feel and sound way different. The heavy rain feels like golf balls falling on you and sounds like someone knocking on your door. Light rain feels as soft as a pillow and sounds like you can't even hear it. That is what heavy and light rain feel and sound like.

There are different kinds of rain too. Some kinds of rain are sprinkling, spitting, pouring, and pounding rain. The kind of rain that I like is pouring rain. I like pouring rain because I'll play football in it, run, slide, and jump in the rain and mud. That is why I like pouring rain.

I don't like some rain though. The kind of rain that I hate is pounding rain. I hate pounding rain because it's loud, hurts when it's windy, and thunder and lighting can be in pounding rain.

Now I told you what heavy and light rain feels and sounds like, maybe you should know how to enjoy the rain no matter what.

There is a big difference between light and heavy rain. One's way's how they sound and how they feel. Light rain sounds quiet, but heavy rain sounds really loud! Light rain feels like it's barely touching you . Heavy rain, however, feels like it's pounding you to the ground.

My favorite type of rain is pouring. It scares me at times(when it's really loud!) But, believe it or not, it soothes me as well. I also sleep really well when it's raining, usually hard rain.

My least favorite type of rain is spitting. It hurts! It also scares me, at times. Especially when it pounds on the roof!

Well, like I said, rain can be light or heavy. Loud or quiet. Soft or hard.

A Rainy Day

Although soft and heavy rain sound and feel different, on a rainy day I would rather listen and watch pouring rain.
There are many differences between light and heavy rain. First off, light rain is very weightless. On the other hand, heavy rain is hefty, has thicker raindrops, and louder sounds than soft raindrops. But light rain doesn't have a noisy, blasting sound like pouring or heavy rain. Light rain is very airy when it touches you, but heavy rain can sometimes feel like it is beating down on you.
Out of sprinkling, spitting, pouring, and pounding rain, I like pouring rain because the sound is very relaxing. Rain can be fun to listen to if you watch it because as the rain passes through, the sounds and feelings change.
Throughout all the different types of rain I don't like pounding rain, it's too loud, noisy, and annoying sometimes. Secondly, it is too heavy and feels too hard and beats down on you.

Although rain can be horrible, I think sometimes it's cool. Rain could be light or heavy. It also can be pouring, pounding, sprinkling, and spitting.

I like pouring rain because it feels and sounds awesome. pouring rain is so cool because it gives you a massage on your back. Pouring rain means that it's going to be humid.
I don't like rain when it rains on special events, and you can't play outside when it's rainy out. You can't have a party when it's raining outside.
So now when you plan special events, watch the weather forecast and see if it's going to rain on that day. Also, if it's rainy outside, you can always find something else to do.

I would prefer a light drizzly falling mist, rather than a pounding downpour. I love to hear the pitter, patter of a little drizzling rain. It's so much fun to watch the rain quietly fall to the ground. When, I'm in bed it's easier to fall a sleep to the almost silent sprinkling rain.
It's no fun when it's pouring or pounding rain outside. I never like it when the rain is pounding or pouring. Pounding ans pouring rain li\eave huge puddles that leave the fields wet for days. When it is pounding or pouring rain my mom doesn't like to go anywhere.
Next time it rains, remember rain comes in different forms. It can come in light or heavy rain. I like it when it's just a sprinkley mistoutside.

A gentle rain is a soft, quite, peaceful lamb. While on the other hand, a heavy rain is a load, hard, angry lion. Soft rain has a quiet pitter-patter on the cement, while a heavy rain is nails falling from the sky.

My favorite rain is the heavy rain. I like to hear it crashing to the ground. The air after a good rain is thick.

Although a heavy rain is my favorite, a soft rain is also pleasant. The smell of wet trees is awesome. Although both rains are nice, they both have there down sides.

There are many differences between the sound and feeling of rain. Light rain is to soft for me, because it makes me feel like a bird getting ready to take off. Which is exactly why I like heart pounding rain that weighs me down. Also both rains sound about the same except for the occasional downpours from heavy rains that sound like a stampede of bulls!
There are many reasons I think a downpour is the best. After a downpour you can see a vibrant rainbow, and you can smell the old rain. Also before a down pour the sky turns into a funky “yellowish” color.
However downpours can make some boring things happen. The rain slows the day down almost to a complete stop. And the air gets all dark and gloomy.
I would much rather sit in a heavy, fierce, downpour,than a gentle rain.

Light and heavy rain are different by the way they sound and the way they feel. A light shower makes little drops on your clothes whereas a heavy rain drenches them. The difference in so und startles me. During a heavy rain you hear a chhh and during a light rain you hear a pitter-patter. A light rain gives you a better chance of not having a wet, sticky. muddy ground.

Although both are unpleasant, I love hard loud downpours when it rains. I feel it's enjoyable to hear the loud sound of the rain on the roof. The rainbows that come after the rain has stopped are very beautiful. I absolutely love driving in rain and seeing little drops of water on the window.

I feel a light drizzling rain is not near as exciting as a heavy storm. I dislike the hot misty air that comes after a rainfall. Another thing that drives me crazy is the soft dripping of the light rain that keeps me awake at night.

Although both rains are depressing and sad usually, the loud sound of the heavy rain is soothing.

Even though there are many similarities between light and heavy rain, I would like to say some differences. To me heavy rain sounds like a giant that just had a cow stomping around so hard he could break the ground. Unlike heavy rain, to me light rain sounds like a pencil tapping to the rhythm of a song. Another difference is how when a heavy rain ends all the worms come out, and after a light rain there are a couple of puddles here and there.

My favorite rain is the gentle sprinkle. I love how when the soft cold rain hits your back you get a little chill down your spine. To me the best part of a gentle shower is how it can sooth you to sleep. I enjoy how after a light shower it smells fresh and clean.

My least favorite type of rain is the heart pounding thunderstorms. When the rain hits you, you get a splintering piercing feeling that burns your skin. I dislike how a hard downpour can wake you up at night by the lightning. The worst part of a heavy rain is the smell of worms everywhere you go.

Even though I like a gentle sprinkle, a heavy rain is good once in a blue moon.

Rain can have many similarities; however, rain can have many differences. One difference is how pouring rain sounds like a hammer nailing something, but light rain is just a very soft splash. How the two rains feel is different, too. Pouring rain is a hard imposing drop on your skin, but light sprinkling rain is a silent noise and then a drop.

In addition, my most favorite rain, as you may know, is the hard, imposing, downpour rain. During this rain I love to run outside and jump on my trampoline. I also love to read on our porch swing in the afternoon, and crack my window at night when it is raining. One last thing I love is when you drive under a bridge and the rain stops and the starts.

My least favorite rain is the gentle sprinkling rain. One thing I hate is when it is sprinkling outside, and how the air is humid because of the rain. Another reason is because when you go outside, you feel like you are sweating with the rain on your skin.

Even though, heavy and light rain are somewhat different my favorite rain is the hard imposing rain.

Although light and heavy rain are both unpleasant, I would much rather sit through soft sprinkling rain. I wouldn't like to sit in heavy rain, because heavy rain feels like a wrestler beating on me in a match!

How are light and heavy rain different? Light rain is soft,sweet,and innocent, like a baby bunny. However, it can be very cold and makes the air humid. Heavy rain on the other hand, is mean, dark, and crude.

Which rain do you enjoy the most? I enjoy light the most. I enjoy light rain because it's much more pleasant . Light rain reminds me of cold, delicate silk.

Which rain do you least enjoy? I least enjoy heavy rain. I least enjoy heavy rain because it's very unpleasant and makes a lot of things scared. Heavy rain makes me think of sitting at home having to watch boring movies with my mom!

As you can see in the paragraph above, I much rather sit in light , silky rain. I prefer sitting in soft innocent rain, because it's much less harsh and cold!

There's certain rain that I enjoy a lot. That is heavy rain. Heavy rain makes you very wet, and i love being wet. That's what kind of rain I like.

A type of rain I don't like is light rain. You can't listen to the cool sound that rain makes. That's the kind of rain I don't like.

I enjoy heavy rain more than light rain, because of its delightful sound. The harsh rain hammering against my small window makes me all jittery. It starts as a slight drizzle into a dramatic storm!

Light rain on the other hand just sprinkles against the grass. It gently scatters against the green grass, leaving dew to rest until dawn. When I go outside I love to get soaked, whereas in light rain i barely even get wet.

Although light and heavy rain feel and sound different, I would rather watch a heavy a heavy downpour.

Light and heavy rain are very different. Light rain is quiet and makes a gentle sound. Heavy rain is loud and crazy with big puddles. Also during heavy rainfalls it usually floods.

Overall, I think heavy rain is totally awesome. There is so much you can do with downpours. You can watch the droplets fall from the sky and pound to the ground. Also you could ride your four wheeler through the deep puddles after the rain stops. Or if you find the sound of rain hitting the roof relaxing, and soothing, you could go to sleep with it.

On the other hand I don't really enjoy the light rain. First of all, it makes you wet with nothing in return. It is way to sneaky and sly because it just comes out of nowhere. Also I hate how it's so soft that you can't even feel it hit your skin.

In the end I would say these types of rain are quite different, but i just can't get over how much fun heavy rain is. Some days you just got to have some fun with it.

My least favorite type of rain is a soft sprinkling mist. I hate it when my hair sticks up because it's so humid! It's also so boring. Even when it's over your still stuck inside since it's muddy.

Those are some differences between light and heavy rain, and why I like a heavy, pounding downpour better than a light soft sprinkle.

Rain can come as a heavy downpour or a gentle sprinkling, I enjoy the sound of a loud pouring rain.

The difference between light and heavy rain is that light rain is not near as enjoyable as heavy rain. I know this because whenever you watch a light rain it just goes off and on and it stops, then starts all up again a couple minutes after. Also if you put your hand out during a light rain it just falls very light and soft on your hand. Heavy is the complete opposite of light rain, heavy rain falls in big droplets and it splatters on the ground very loud and hard. The best thing about heavy rain is listening to the sound of it pouring on your rooftop in the middle of the springtime. If you put your hand out during a pouring rain it splatters on your hand and it gets you soaked.

The kind of rain I enjoy is the pouring rain because whenever it splatters on your rooftop it makes a pounding sound and it makes you fall asleep. The best thing to do during a pouring rain is to put your window up and lay in bed and listen to it dropping on you roof while your laying under the covers. The reason I like pouring rain is because it makes a comforting sound that makes you all sleepy. That's why I enjoy heavy rain so much.

The kind of rain I enjoy the least is light rain because it goes off and on and it stops and starts up again and it is just really boring. I also don't like it because it is soft and its not loud and as enjoyable as heavy rain. That's why I don't like light rain at all.

Even though all kinds of rain are enjoyable and fun, I like to listen to the sound of a loud pouring rain under the covers out of school.

In chapter 22 Myrlie receives some mysterious items from Bethany's father. Tell us about these items and what you think they mean. Myrlie also mentions that she has some questions for Walter. What do you think she is going to ask him?

I think that in double identity, Bethany's dad changed jobs and changed their last name because when the mom crashed, she did something that was against the law and would get her sent to jail. I think that the parents will be gone until after Bethany's 13th birthday because they're afraid that she might die in a car crash. They probably told Bethany's aunt not to be driving on her birthday.

I can't wait till we read it again

Wow!! I agree there are many things that we don't know about Double Identity that we don't know. I believe that the man in the newspaper is after them somehow. I believe that they changed their identity to be safe and had to leave Bethany there to keep her safe. I think that Bethany will start school there and maybe even start gymnastics. I also think that since knowing all this Bethany will keep a lot more things to herself. I think the man that called wants to know that Bethany is there, so that's why he's calling. Maybe him and Elizabeth had a quarrel and it never got resolved and he's going to take it out on Bethany. I think that Joss is very nice and that she will reveal some answers that Bethany has really wanted to know. I think that Bethany's dad will also stop calling her and that will make Bethany very worried. I would also like to know more about Bethany's mom, like "What's wrong with her?", "Why does she cry all the time?", "Why does she blame herself for the accident when it was a complete accident?" Finally I feel that Mrs. Roster should read to us during STAT!! Well, that all for now!

Oh my goodness!!! So many new questions have been raised in Double Identity. I'm dying to know what you think. Why did Bethany's dad change careers? Why does Bethany have a different last name than Elizabeth? Who is Dalton Van Dyne (the embezzler released from prison) and why is he important to our story? My boook is Brian's Winter. Brian is the main character. Brian is stuck in the Canadian Wilderness and winter is aproching.

In the book Brian's Winter, Brian gets stuck in the woods during the winter, and no planes have come to search for him. I think later on brian will get attacked by another bear again. GO KU!!!!!

Matilda

the book I am reading is Matilda . this book is about the main character and her family her dad is very cheap, he is a used cars salesman and he puts sawdust in the cars oil so it only runs about 10 miles, and then rattleing again. starts matildas mom just goes to work and then gets home and is real lazy. her parents really don't care what she does but, they won't let her read a book her dad says that the telavision is just as good.matilda goes to the library everyday for 2 hours till her mom and dad get home. she is 4 and a 1/2 and her parents leave her alone.shes not tall enough to reach the cabnet so she keeps a box of food and hot drinks in the little room. my prediction for the book Matilda is that she will run away or her parents might leave her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am currently reading the book The Breadwinner. In the book Afghanistan is at war with Taliban. During the war the women cannot go outside without a man with them. I f they are caught without outside without a man they can be arrested. What do you think of the rights that the women are being unprivelegded of? Also in the book Parvana and her mother get beaten by soldiers trying to rescue Parvana's dad from the prison he was taken to. Do you think it is right that Parvana and her mother are being beaten by the soldiers even though they not even supposed to be outside? I think that Afghanistan will pull through and win the war though, and the women will earn their rights to go outside as they choose.

Island

The book Island is interesting. Luke is the main charecter. The problem is that Luke gets sent to a prison boat for having a gun in his locker. My prediction is Luke and the other kids will get stuck on an island.

Surviving The Applewhites

In the book Surviving the Applewhites the main characters names are Jake Semple and E.D. Applewhite. the problem of the book is that Jake is a foster kid and moves in with the Applewhites, but E.D. doesn't like him what so ever. She thinks hes going to ruin everything she has worked for because Jake is a mess and E.D. likes things to be organized. I think at the end of the book Jake and E.D. will become close friends and Jake will learn how to be organized and that E.D. will learn how to trust Jake with things and I think they will like share the same feelings at somethings and sometimes.

In my book Blizzaard's Wake by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor the main characters are Ezekiel Floyd Dexter and Kate Sterling. Ezekiel was in prison for three years and he's coming out. The Zebra Wall

The problem in this book is Adin the main character is one of the five children of her family she has to share a room with her aunt, because her mom is having a baby. Adin is not happy about this. My prediction for what Adin will do is she might get jealous of her new sister and try to run away but realize she shouldn't and she will accept her new sister. In the book Surviving the Applewhites the main character is named Jake Semple. Jake moves in with the Applewhites and one of the children E.D. doesn't like him. Something I think is going to happen is E.D. Jake Semple are going ot become friends or hep each other in a situatuion that comes up unexpectedly. Another thing I think is going to happen is that Jake will ruin E.D.'s organization and make her really mad and they will fight. But then in the end I think Jake will become organized.

The book I am currently reading is The Zebra Wall by Kevin Henkes. The main characters are Adine, Bernice, Carla, Dot, Effie, Baby, Mr. and Mrs. Vorlob, and Aunt Irene. Adine's problem is that she does not like the aunt that is staying with them while her mother is recovering from her latest pregnancy. Adine also wanted a little sister but got a little brother instead. That means the bunch of "F" names that were on the 'fridge are going in the trash can. Now, the family doesn't know what to name the baby boy. My prediction is that they will start at the end of the alphabet since it's the boy and give him a interesting "Z" name. I also think that something bad will happen between Adine and Aunt Irene. What do you think will happen?

In the book The Zebra Wall the Volob family is about to have a new baby. My books main caracters are Adine,Bernice, Carla, Dot, and Effie.Now Mrs. Volob's sister is staying with them. Now the Volob baby is born and is home and the Volob's Aunt Irene is taking over everything and the girls are gettin sick of her. I predict that the girls will all tell their parents that they are sick of having Aunt Irene around. My other prediction is that the girls will torture their aunt untill she wants to leave.

The name of this book is Blizzard's Wake by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. The main charaters are Kate and Zeke Dexter. The book is about a man Zeke Dexter who was very drunk who killed Kate's mom. Now Zeke just got out of jail going to find his brother which Zeke's brother's house has burn to the ground is now searching for a job. I think Kate is going to see Zeke and run for her life, when zek is trying to appologized to her. I think at the end everything is going to work alright.

Island

The book I'm reading is Island. The main characters in my book are Luke, J.J., Will, Lyssa, Charla, Ian, Mr.Raddford, and Captain Cascadden.The main problem in my book hasn't really came up yet but the one that is starting to come up is that the waves on the boat are getting to be 8ft tall!My prediction is long I think that the boat is going to go down and so the adults will die and the children are going to be stranded on the island.This is going to be really hard for them I think because they already are going to be having to work together to find food and make shelter but they don't like each other at all!!!!!!!!!!!!Especially Will and Lyssa.The book Island is really good and I'm excited to see what happens in this great novel.

Hey, my name is Carsyn Harr. I am reading the book, Pictures Of Hollis Woods. The main character is Hollis and her problem is that she can't go through life without making a mistake on one of her pictures she draws. There might be another problem in the book but im only on page 32 so ... Sorry don't know to much right now. The mother and father don't even pay attention to Matilda the way our parents pay attention to us. This book is about Brian Robeson serving in the wilderness in Canada in the middle of winter. Brian will have to face animals that he has never faced before. I think that Brian will fall into ice water and have to build a firer in the middle of a snow covered land. I also think that he'll lose his riffel in the lake and he'll have to make a wepon to hunt with or he'll starve to sertion death.

In my book The Zebra Wall by Kevin Henkes my main character's name is Adine Vorlob. She has four sisters, their names are Bernice, Carla, Dot, and Effie. In the book her mom Mrs. Vorlob is pregnant and they have to think of a baby name for the new baby. Some names they have thought of are Flo, Florinda, and Frito. Well her mom goes to the hospital and thinks it's "time." The problem in my book is her mom calls from the hospital but she has no clue what's going on. Some of my predictions are that she called and her mother told her that it was a false alarm. Another prediction of mine is that her mother said she had a BOY!!! My last prediction is that her mom just told her that the baby was unhealthy and may not live!!!
